Custom Mugs

Personalized coffee mugs are always a popular choice. Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork prints sharply and looks great on ceramic surfaces.

• Recommended Resolution: 300 DPI at final printed size.
• Color Mode: RGB — files must be uploaded in RGB (we print using dye-sublimation for most mugs).
• File Types: TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, PSD, BMP, GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, PDF are accepted. For layered formats (PSD, AI) please flatten before uploading.
• Recommended: Upload JPG for smaller file sizes; provide files in RGB color mode at 300 DPI for best results.
• Max Upload Size: 50 MB per file.
• Bleed: No bleed required for mug wraps, but use templates for correct active print area.
• Backgrounds: To print a true black background, set background color to #000000. Otherwise white ceramic will show through.
• Proofing: Instant online proof is available. A manually processed PDF proof (1 business day) is included with the base price for one proof.

• Material: Ceramic surface (dye-sublimation).
• Available Types: Standard (colored trims available), Heat-Activated (reveals image when hot).
• Sizes: 11 oz, 15 oz, 18 oz.
• Mug Colors & Trims: White, Black; trims: White, Black, Indigo, Red, Light Blue, Pink (trim availability varies by size).
• Care: Standard mugs are dishwasher safe. Heat-activated mugs must be hand-washed. None are microwave safe.
• Starting Price: $6.99 — price for single 11 oz white mug with white trim. Includes processing of one uploaded file and a single proof.
